When did you begin working at WellPet Vets?
What do you like about working at WellPet Vets the most?
I enjoy spending my time working with animals, being able to help those patients in need and giving them best care possible. I also enjoy the variety of animals that walk through the front door and getting to know each ones individual personality. The staff are pretty swell too smile emoticon
What were you doing before working at WellPet?
After finishing high school I went to uni to complete an Animal Science course before deciding it wasn’t what i wanted to do and left after a year. I worked at Coles for several years before deciding i wanted to become a Vet nurse and completed my Cert IV in 2012.
How many pets do you own?
I Have 2 cats. Mushu, a 10 year old Burmese that was adopted from Mountains Animals Hospital, and Mr Kit, and 18 year old D.S.H., who was also adopted from the clinic after he came in as a stray and his owner could no longer look after him.
I have a 13 year old Bantam chicken named Woogle who still lays the occasional egg.
A very fussy rabbit named Zephyr who enjoys digging burrows.
An African Lovebird named Iggy who appeared in our backyard many years ago.
I also have some goldfish.
If you were an animal what do you think you would be?
What did you want to be when you grew up?
An Archaeologist or Paleantologist then later on a vet.
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and pets. I like being outdoors in the sunshine, whether its gardening, hanging out with friends, watching sport or just spending time at home doing nothing in particular.
